Why This Guide Exists
Idaho law provides access to many public records, subject to exemptions, but those records are divided among separate systems. The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office creates county jail booking records and intake photographs. Idaho Code §20-601 requires a photograph during full county-jail booking, though BCSO does not expose a verified public live roster or online photo gallery. Courts record what happens after charges are filed, and the Idaho Department of Correction covers sentenced or supervised people in its system. This site gathers those official lookup and written-request paths without copying their records or photographs.
What the Pages Cover
The guides separate current custody, historical records, and later court outcomes so one source is not mistaken for another.
- The recent-arrests hub explains the full official search path, the absence of a confirmed web roster, warrant checks, booking-photo requests, and correction or removal options.
- Dedicated pages distinguish the same-day arrest window, the multi-day arrest log, and VINELink custody alerts.
- City guides explain the different arrest and booking routes for Bonners Ferry and Moyie Springs without inventing city rosters.
- Request guidance identifies the BCSO records/civil contact and the agency’s published three-working-day response point and possible ten-working-day production period.
Limits of This Site
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected with the Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, Boundary County Jail, the Idaho Department of Correction, any police department, court, or government agency.
- We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person in custody.
- We cannot post bond, arrange visits, or send funds for anyone.
- We cannot provide legal advice or decide whether a record qualifies for sealing.
- We cannot guarantee that an outside office’s hours, fees, addresses, or records remain unchanged.
Only the responsible sheriff, jail, court, or corrections agency can confirm custody, booked charges, transfer, or release. The links here lead to those sources, but the confirmation must come from the originating office.
Independent Search Partners
Some pages contain search tools supplied by third-party providers. Those providers control their own results and prices. If a tool leads to a paid registration, this site may receive a referral fee that helps keep these guides available at no charge. We do not set the partner’s fees or control the information it returns.
